PROMOTION
Any referee wishing to apply for promotion should apply in writing to their District FA Referee Secretary and Trevor Massey, County Referee Development Officer, by 1st March 2011 at the latest.
Your attendance at the Refereee Promotion Day, taking place on Sunday 22 May 2011 will be compulsory if you wish to achieve promotion. Further details of the day will be released nearer to the date.
Any Referee currently on the Promotion Scheme that has not received any assessments should make immediate contact with their District FA Referee Secretary.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REFEREE KITS!
The FA Council on November 11th approved the Referees’ Committee’s proposed rule change which will allow referees to wear predominantly black shirts with a ‘black or white collar’ as from 1st July 2010.
It is very important that referees who purchase black collared shirts should be fully aware that they must not be worn before 1st July 2010.
