
Introduction
1st4Sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football Anyone aged 16 or over with an interest in coaching and an enthusiasm for learning new skills and techniques. The course includes the FA Safeguarding Children workshop and FA Emergency Aid.
1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football Anyone aged 16 or over with previous practical experience of participation in football.
FA Learning Goalkeeping Coaching Award (Level 1) Open access for anyone who wants to improve their “technical” knowledge of Goalkeeping. Pre-requisites are the FA Safeguarding Children certificate and The FA Emergency Aid certificate (or equivalent).
Futsal Course Open access 1 day course. Futsal is the format of Small Sided Football that is recognised and supported by FIFA and UEFA with World and European Championships for club and National Teams Candidates must hold the “FA Safeguarding Children” certificate, FA Emergency Aid certificate and an existing coaching qualification.
FA Learning Coaching Disabled Footballers Course Aimed at coaches who currently work in the community, A minimum of a Level 1 coaching qualification is required along with a valid FA Safeguarding Children” certificate.
Welfare Officers Workshop Aimed at Club Welfare Officers, the course provides ideas and examples about how to prevent poor practice as well as how to deal with it when it arises. Candidates must possess an Enhanced CRB Disclosure via The FA CRB Unit and The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate.
'New Course for 2008' - The FA Skills Module A minimum of 1st 4Sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football or Qualified Teacher Status is required as a pre-course requisite. A six hour course aimed at those working with 5-11 year old players, who want to improve their knowledge and understanding of the ‘what’ and ‘how’ to coach players of this age.
'New Course for 2008' The FA Level 3 Youth Award (Unit 1) A minimum of 1st 4Sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football or Qualified Teacher Status and The FA One Day Skills Module or 1st 4 Sport Level 2 (or above) Certificate in Coaching Football as a pre-course requisite. A four day course aimed at those working with 5-11 year old players who want to further their knowledge and understanding.
The FA Basic Referee Course Aimed at anyone over the age of 14 interested in refereeing. The course includes the “FA Safeguarding Children” workshop and CRB workshop.

Please be aware that most of these courses are of a physical nature, therefore a good all round general fitness is required. Confirmation from your doctor is recommended before partaking in one of these courses.
