Through the affiliation process in May / June each club notifies the County FA of the number of teams registered with them for the season and the leagues that they will be participating in. As you all will know it is very difficult to say for definite months prior to the start of the season the accurate number of teams that will be involved within your club, as players & volunteers come and go which affects the overall make up of your club.
The Governance department of CCFA uses this information to contact the clubs and send out general information regarding insurance, discipline and rule amendments. It is the clubs responsibility to ensure the County FA has the up to date contact information as it could result in communications not being received, fines issued and ultimately your club being suspended from playing football.
During October & November the County FA performed a Team Analysis Audit of all clubs in the county to ensure we had accurate information on our systems.
This was an incredibly important exercise as through local knowledge of the CCFA Development Team it was highlighted that the information that was held on the County Administration System regarding number of teams playing within clubs was different to what was actually happening on weekends in the county.
The CCFA Development team uses the information which is held on the County Administration System to target areas of work each season, if this information is inaccurate it then means that the development work isn’t done where it is most needed.
Thanks to all clubs in the county who returned their Team Analysis forms within the short deadline that was set. As promised the first 20 clubs to return their forms were entered in to a prize draw and the 10 clubs that were drawn out will receive an Umbro equipment package worth £50.00; Cheshire FA are pleased to announce that the winners are as follows:
