District FA History: The District has presided over local Football in the Altrincham and district area for over 100 years. It runs a Saturday Senior Cup competition and a Sunday Senior Cup competition.

It looks after two local leagues Altrincham & District Amateur League (Saturday open age football) and the Timperley & District Junior Football League This offers football to all ages of youth football covering Saturdays and Sundays. Previously we had an Altrincham Sunday Football league and a Wythenshawe & District Sunday Football League.

New Volunteers are need to support:
The promotion of our local leagues and District cup competitions is key to keep them running.

We would like support in trying to get a Female District cup competition off the ground, somebody with networks into the local teams that have a female team. If you can help, please get in touch!

Young Person Volunteer Involvement:
Anyone involved within the football family within our area can volunteer to join the DFA council (we encourage this greatly) as the age demographic very rarely gets lower. We have a strong RA within the district and many volunteers come from that arena or through the local leagues we have involvement with.
