District FA History: 
The Mid-Cheshire DFA, originally known as The Northwich & District FA, was formed in September 1901.

The period of the 1950's/60's was probably the most successful period for the association. ICI Akali FC winning the Cheshire Amateur Cup in four consecutive seasons, and also putting Northwich on the map with successful runs in the then FA Amateur Cup.

Barnton FC also won the Cheshire Amateur Cup in 1969, little did we know then it would be some 32 years later before a Mid-Cheshire team (Barnton FC again) would win the trophy.

There are many players from the District who have played in the Football League and at senior non-league level. 

The name change to Mid-Cheshire DFA was sanctioned in 1982 as it was felt the name did not fully represent the towns of Middlewich and Winsford. 

The boundary for MCDFA are the following parishes: Whitley; Antrobus; Aston by Budworth; Pickmere; Wincham; Plumley; Peover Superior; Allostock; Lach Dennis; Byley; Sproston; Middlewich; Wimboldsley; Darnhall; Little Budworth; Delamere; Norley; Kingsley; Crowton; Acton Bridge and Little Leigh

New Volunteers are need to support:
The Mid-Cheshire DFA are always on the lookout for new volunteers. If you are interested in football, or the running of the game in any way, please do get in touch.

Young Person Volunteer Involvement:
