A breakdown of the work of the YGAM charity

Young Gamers & Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) are an award-winning education charity working to prevent children and young people from experiencing gaming and gambling harms through awareness raising, education and research.

YGAM provides fully-funded training to sports organisations, education professionals, youth workers, healthcare professionals and university staff around the following topics:
 
•                 Mental health and wellbeing
 
•                 Gaming and gambling harms
 
•                 Advertising and sponsorship
 
•                 The blurred lines between gaming and gambling
 
•                 How to spot signs of harm
 
•                 Where to get help and support
 
In addition, those attending the workshops gain access to their resources portal, with a variety of education, youth work and 1:1 resources to assist delivering sessions to young people and help raise further awareness.

YGAM also have a dedicated Parent Hub with useful articles, gaming guides, glossaries and information on where to find further help, or book on to one of our Parent or Looked After Children workshops.
