We Can Play 2

The FA Girls' Football Week takeover

October 10-16 is The FA Girls' Football Week and we are having a website and social media takeover to promote it.

We are pleased to be going purple shouting about the great opportunities for women and girls in the female game in the county!

The purpose of week is to encourage as many females as possible to get playing and across the seven days we'll be telling you all about women and girls' football in Cheshire are how you can get involved.

Throughout the week there are a number of open sessions taking place that you can go along to.

Whether you're an experienced player or have never played the game, Cheshire FA in association with clubs and organisations across the county have organised sessions that women and girls can attend to get playing.

To find a session please download our calendar by clicking HERE.

All sessions on the calendar are open to attend for females in the relevant age categories but you must get in touch with the session deliverer in advance of the session to secure a place.

If you attend a session please tweet us your photos or videos to @Cheshire_FA and use the hashtag #wecanplay. Liverpool Ladies have kindly donated a signed shirt for us to give away to the best entry from a participant or host organiser.

Also, keep an eye on our website and our Twitter and Facebook feeds across the week as we focus on various aspects of female football in the county, including highlighting role models of the game in the county.
