Girls Advanced Player Development Centre trials - Chester

Cheshire FA, in association with Chester FC, are pleased to announce details for the 2016-17 trials of our Girls' Advanced PDC.

The Advanced Player Development Centre (APDC) will help bridge the gap between grassroots football and the FA Regional Talent Club programme through offering young talented female players the best coaching and environment we can offer to assist their personal development in football to help them reach their potential.

Players who have been successful at the assessment sessions will be invited to the centre to take part in a programme where they will be challenged in line with The FA's 4 Corner Model (technically, physically, psychologically and socially).

Players selected for the talent programme and continue to play for their grassroots club and will receive extra coaching on a Thursday evening at Chester Catholic High School with FA qualified coaches.

The APDC will consist of a 20 week coaching programme and a minimum of two fixture festivals in conjunction with other APDCs.

The APDC will run coaching sessions for successful players in the following age groups for the 2016-17 season; U12s, U14s & U16s.

Please note these trials are for females who are demonstrating a high level ability playing within mixed or girls club football teams.

Assessment Sessions

Chester FC APDC will operate assessments and coaching sessions from Chester Catholic High School, Old Wrexham Road, Chester, CH4 7HS.

Players will require suitable footwear for playing on an artificial surface (No Studs), shin pads and a drink.
