Cheshire Football Association is delighted to announce that we will be supporting Once Upon A Smile as our official Charity partner.

Once Upon a Smile provide emotional, practical & financial support to bereaved families at their time of need to enable them to move forward.

They are the only bereavement charity in the UK to offer a variety of support to families through such a difficult time, not only are they unique in this way but they also tailor the support we provide to families to fit their individual needs.

Families are often left to grieve alone with little or no support available and this can often have a devastating impact on family life and children.

As well as lots of exciting fundraising events taking place including the Cheshire FA 2017 Awards in September, Once Upon a Smile will also be on hand to offer bereavement support to our clubs and team across the county.

Steve Stewart, Cheshire FA General Manager, said:  "The hard work and selfless dedication shown by those that drive 'Once upon a Smile' is absolutely overwhelming.

"The impact and support offered by the Charity to families comes at the most difficult and challenging time. We are proud to be associated with them – and look forward to supporting their amazing efforts."

Once Upon a Smile co-founder and manager, Daniel Jillings, said:  "Once Upon a Smile is delighted to be named charity beneficiary to Cheshire FA. Having met with the team at Cheshire FA they have the same ethos as Once Upon a Smile in wanting to support and reach out to bereaved families at their time of need. We look forward to a long and successful partnership."
