County Referee Appointments Officer

A bit about us:

We govern football across Cheshire and have been doing that since 1878 (yes, that long!) putting our clubs, leagues, players, coaches and referees at the heart of our delivery. We support, develop and grow the game in Cheshire for each and every format of Football. It’s our Responsibility to act with Integrity and Empathy, leading as a Team to provide Inspiration For All.

A bit about the role:

We are looking to appoint a Referee Appointments Officer to support the delivery of the FA National Game Strategy and Cheshire FA County Cup Competitions.

You will be

  • Appointing Match Officials as required to the Cheshire FA County Cup Competitions.
  • Helping to deliver KPIs within the Referees Sections of Cheshire FA’s Operational Business Plan
  • Providing progression opportunities for Match Officials.
  • Helping to streamline Match Official appointments.
  • Working with the FA Full Time Admin System and the Whole Game System

What’s the deal?

We’re looking for the best candidate who can increase the activity of Match Officials ensuring the number of matches controlled by a qualified Referee increases in line with FA/ Cheshire FA targets.

An annual honorarium will be paid for the role.  

Travelling expenses will also be paid for any meetings you are required to attend.
