We are delighted to have successfully launched our first completed Club Marketing Package, providing Ashton on Mersey FC with a range of new marketing materials.
As part of their pro package, the club have received a brand new bespoke Cheshire FA website through our partnership with Team Websites, a range of social media graphics and a modern newsletter template through Mailchimp.

The package also included brand guidelines and a range of handy training guides to help the club make best use of the assets provided.
We launched the package earlier this year, giving clubs and leagues across Cheshire the chance to further enhance their online output and day-to-day promotion.
Adam Wareing, Ashton on Mersey Club Secretary, said: “As a club, we’ve nearly doubled in size over the last 3 years and now have over 400 members, including the recent introduction of a girls’ section, a ladies team and a men’s team.
“To grow so quickly, we’ve had to harness technology to improve our ‘behind the scenes’ processes and made great strides in this area. However, we recognised that we still lagged behind other local clubs (football and non-football) when it came to communicating with our membership and local community.
“As a club run solely by volunteers, many with full time jobs, we were looking at something that would allow us to spread the word easily, efficiently and professionally. So, the package from Cheshire FA came at just the right time! We went for the full package as this allowed us to access the perfect mix: Professional looking websites through Team Websites, first class graphic design through Canva and the email distribution capabilities of Mailchimp.
“The website is really easy to use and will be a breeze to update, even without web design skills – you just need to know how to type! If you’ve used Wordpress, then it will be an absolute breeze. Canva has given us the tools for a number of people at the club to create quick advertising material that adhere to our brand guidelines (also created by Cheshire FA) and look brilliant – again, no prior skills are required and it can be done on an iPhone. Mailchimp is the icing on the cake – it allows you to get your message across in an engaging and visual way.
“Cheshire FA have done most of the hard work for us already in terms of branding and content but I was really impressed at the way in which you can also tweak the website settings to tailor it to your specific needs – something we’re working on ahead of the new season.
“All in all, we’re really pleased that we made the decision to adopt the marketing package and would urge other clubs to look at it too.”
