Minor changes to the Whole Game System

These changes will now speed up the DBS application process.

The FA have made some minor adjustments to the Whole Game System (WGS).

These changes will now speed up the DBS application process. On average, a clear DBS can take up to six weeks to be accepted on the WGS. With these changes, they should take just 48 hours.

The difference is:

  • The applicant will have to start their DBS on the WGS and then complete the rest on GBG Online as normal.
  • You, as verifiers, will go in as normal and verify the document’s on GBG.
  • Once it has been completed at GBG, this will be updated on WGS immediately.

For this to be activated all clubs must have a PIN and secret word with GBG. If the club does not have this, then please get in touch with the Safeguarding Department immediately.

For those using the PIN 102250, this will no longer work, and you will have to get in touch with us.

We kindly ask all clubs to start the new process as this will significantly enhance the efficiency.

If you are having any problems or struggling with any changes, please get in touch with us at safeguarding@cheshirefa.com and we will resolve all issues.
