Northgate Arena to host upcoming round of FA National Futsal Series
Cheshire Futsal will be hosting the latest round of the FA National Futsal Series on Sunday November 3.
Eight teams will embark on Chester’s Northgate Arena to take part in the third round of fixtures. There will be four 40-minute matches over the course of the afternoon and entry is FREE for all.
After the opening two rounds, Richie Jones’ side currently sit top of the table with two wins from two, scoring 26 times and conceding just six along the way.
Their next fixture comes against Sunderland University Futsal Team, with kick off scheduled for 14:50. It will be the third game of an action-packed day of sport.
Cheshire Futsal currently compete in the Tier 2 Northern Section of the National Futsal Series, which began its inaugural season last month.
Doors open at 10:00 on the day, with the first game getting underway at 10:30.
Ahead of the event, Rob Goring, Cheshire Futsal Club Secretary, said: “We’re really excited to be able to host the new FA National Futsal Series here in Chester and bring the National League to the area.
“We have been working hard both on the court and behind the scenes to promote the sport and provide a pathway from grassroots to the National League.
“It’s an entertaining and exciting game to watch as well as play and we hope that some of the local community will come along to support us and see what Futsal is all about.”
