Cheshire FA are incredibly proud to be supporting International Women’s Day 2022. As part of our commitment to this cause, we want to shine a spotlight on some of the incredible Women working in grassroots football across Cheshire.

We would therefore love for you to nominate your #CheshireChampion to highlight the magnificent commitment and dedication shown by our female volunteer workforce.

Our Football Development Officer for Women and Girls football, Steph Knott, spoke of the importance of highlighting the work done: “We are so proud of the wonderful women we have in Cheshire, and so this is a brilliant opportunity to show how grateful we are for the countless hours of dedication they give every week to their grassroots football clubs and leagues. We want to recognise as many of our Cheshire champions as possible, so would encourage all of our clubs and leagues to send in your nominations.”
