Cheshire FA are excited to announce we are further developing our partnership with Powerleague.

We have been working to increase the Flexi football offering across the County, and with the help of Powerleague, we now have a number of new sites up and running, with more to come – as we look to get more people playing football in Cheshire, in a format to suit you.

As part of our partnership, we are excited to announce Powerleague are the title sponsors of our Amatuer Cup for 2022-23 season. 

ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP
Greg McLean, Business Development Manager for Cheshire FA, explained “We are always keen to make football more accessible to a wider audience across Cheshire; through our partnership with Powerleague, we believe that this enhanced Flexi offer will mean more players can take part in grassroots football in Cheshire. We are also very pleased they will be the title sponsors of our Amatuer Cup for 2022/23 season.”

Powerleague spoke of their excitement at the partnership “Powerleague are delighted to be partnering up with Cheshire FA to deliver the Flexi Elevens football leagues. We have been working with Cheshire FA for several years with our 6/7 aside leagues but having the opportunity to expand into Flexi Elevens football is a big step forward in providing more football for the Cheshire community.’’

POWERLEAGUE IN CHESHIRE
There are now a number of Powerleague sites and leagues taking place across the county. These venues include;

• ELLESMERE PORT (Ellesmere Port Sporting Village) - Flexi Mon
Currently 10 teams with a team on the waiting list so just needing 1 more to have a league of 12.

• WIRRAL (Neston High School) - Flexi 11s Mon
Currently league of 6 teams, we are looking for more teams to join the league.

There are more leagues due to start, with some final spaces available at these sites:
• WARRINGTON (Great Sankey Sports Hub) - Flexi 11s - Fri
• NORTHWICH (Moss Farm Leisure Complex) - Flexi 11s - Fri

And finally, more leagues are to come in the following areas:
• CHESTER (The Cheshire County Sports Club) - Flexi 11s – Tue
• CHESTER (Blacon High School) - Flexi 11s – Mon
• ELLESMERE PORT (Vauxhall Motors Sports Club) - Flexi 11s – Fri
