Safeguarding & Welfare Administrator Vacancy

Get Ahead of the Game - Affiliation 2023-24

Safeguarding requirement changes for the 2023-24 season.

We want you to GET AHEAD OF THE GAME! And in doing so, save yourself lots of time this summer!

The new Affiliation process we believe will be a lot easier for Club Officials; however there is some preparatory work to be done in advance to ensure that all goes to plan.

SAFEGUARDING REQUIREMENT CHANGES
As previously mentioned, there are Safeguarding Requirement changes for 2023/24 season and so we are encouraging you as clubs to look at getting all of your club and team officials correctly qualified now to ensure there are no barriers for your affiliation in June.

The most noteworthy being that all Team Officials involved with Under 18 and below teams must have a Safeguarding Children Course completed and on their FAN record.

The guidance document below has the full requirements and links to each course for you. And remember – check the expiry dates of all your club/team officials as you may have some due to expire soon!

Also, if you are an adult club only, you will need to name a Club Welfare Officer for the new season (no qualifications at this stage are required, they must simply be named).
