Women and Girls' Football continues to be the Number 1 female team sport as 1.38 million girls and women play various forms of the game in England.
It is our aim at the Cheshire FA to engage with female players whatever their age or ability and to point them towards opportunities that are right for them.
Whether you're a beginner and want to try football for the first time, want to push yourself at a higher level or maybe you've been away from the game for a period of time and wish to get back into it, there are opportunities for you.
Current Cheshire FA initiatives include:
- FA Skills Centres
- Girls Festivals and Competitions
- Just Play Centres
- Player Development Centre
- Primary and Secondary School Competitions
- Schools Club Links programme
We have produced an information booklet outlining all the women's and girls' clubs in Cheshire with club secretary contact details. To view or download the booklet please click HERE.
Cheshire FA's Football Development Officers are available to assist in the development of all aspects of the women's and girls' game with the primary aim being to increase participation and improve access to local playing opportunities.
