FA Tesco Skills Coach Vacancies

The FA Tesco Skills Programme currently has 3 vacancies for coaches in Cheshire.

CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE FUTURE OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL?

The Football Association introduced The FA Tesco Skills Programme to provide all 5-11’s with a skill set to develop their game, foster lifelong healthy active lifestyles and to improve the long-term performance of our National Game.

This Programme will have a massive short and long-term impact on the nation’s children and football as a whole. The Programme aims to give 5-11’s age appropriate coaching and self-help tools to learn the basics needed to reach their full potential. The Programme has provided 4 million places on coaching courses to-date.

By working with Tesco and supported by Sport England, The FA aims to provide 4.7 million places by 2014.

To help sustain and grow the current Programme, The FA would like to appoint Skills Coaches to the following Teams in the North of England:

Lancashire x 1 Sheffield & Hallamshire x 2

Cumberland x 2 Liverpool x 1

Westmoreland x 1 Isle of Man x 2*

Northumberland x 2 Durham x 1

Cheshire x3 West Riding x 3

* Please note applicants for the Isle of Man vacancies must be eligible for a work permit.

The successful candidates will support their Skills Team to deliver FA Tesco Skills to 5-11 year olds through Skills Centres, school curriculum lessons, Charter Standard Clubs, Girls and disability Centres of Excellence’s/Player Development Centre’s.
