CHARTER STANDARD CLUB OF THE YEAR

JFC PAVILIONS

Their local Primary School enjoys a link with the Club for football activities and for the financial contribution made by JFC Pavilions each season.

CHARTER STANDARD DEVELOPMENT CLUB OF THE YEAR

SALE UNITED
Sale United FC achieved the FA Charter Standard in 2002. Sale United are proud that their reputation is that children involved with the Club receive a quality experience that stretches beyond just football. Families “belong” to the Club so much so that second generation players are now playing for United.
Coaches evolve through the ranks which builds a family feeling at the Club. Their Zero Tolerance Policy has been recognised nationally and is the envy of many.
Sale United’s annual tour to Holland for the Under 13s is an educational adventure and an experience the children will never forget.
The Club is groundbreaking in developing different aspects of football including Age Appropriate Coaching and its latest achievement is “Power Chair football."

Chief Executive Maureen Dunford said: “At a time when the whole nation is behind the England team in the World Cup, these Awards recognise the work which has been done by these very special volunteers. Football at grassroots would not exist without volunteers, who are the lifeblood of the game. I know the many, many hours that people dedicate to football and, who knows, some of their efforts may produce England stars of the future! I extend my congratulations to all the Award winners who have made a real difference to their Clubs and they must be an inspiration to others.”
