Colour Blindness

Colour Blind Awareness

Cheshire FA is committed to ensuring that football is for all across our county, which is why we’re keen to provide a host of useful resources for our leagues and clubs to cater for players, coaches and volunteers with colour blindness.

Alongside The FA, we are determined to create awareness of the issue of colour blindness and the challenges that colour blind individuals face on a day-to-day basis, specifically in football where colours play a huge part.

Statistically, one in 12 men and one in 200 women will be colour blind and that can significantly impact that individuals’ enjoyment of football.

In conjunction with Colour Blind Awareness and The FA, Cheshire FA is pleased to provide a series of links to useful information and guidance to ensure that you can deliver support to any participant that is colour blond – and ensure that any impact on the enjoyment of the game is limited.
