FA Release 2013-14 Fixture List

The FA has released its fixture list the 2013-14 season, get your diaries at the ready to record the key dates.

Football League action will kick-off on Saturday 3rd August 2013, with the Community Shield match between Manchester United and Wigan Athletic taking place at Wembley on Sunday 11th. The Premier League season will commence a week later on Saturday 17th August.

England's Women embark on their World Cup qualifying journey at home to Belarus on Saturday September 21st, whilst the Men's World Cup qualification campaign grinds to a halt on Tuesday October 15th, when they host Poland.

The first major cup final of the season takes place in March, with the Capital One Cup showpiece on Sunday 2nd 2014.  The FA Carlsberg Trophy finale comes three weeks later on Sunday 23rd.

FA Cup semi-final weekend is the 12th and 13th April, with the final taking place on Saturday 17th May.

The Championship, League One and League Two play-off finals will be played on the 24th, 25th and 26th May respectively.

The curtain will be brought down on the domestic season on 1st June when the Women’s FA Cup Final is staged.

On foreign soil there is small matter of the FIFA World Cup kicking off in Brazil on Wednesday 12th June, fingers crossed England will be there!
