The Football Association’s weekend of football celebration is nearly upon us, meaning it is almost time to dust off the boots, grab a ball and get out to play football.

The Cheshire FA is delighted to be supporting Reds v Blues, a nationwide day of football celebration created by The FA to encourage more people to play football this summer.

On Saturday 7 June we encourage you to host a game or event, providing the opportunity for people from your club or if you don't have a club, people of all ages and abilities from the local community to come along and play the nations favourite game.

It could range from kickabouts in gardens to organised 5-a-side and 11-a-side matches. We have a number of Red Vs Blues footballs to give away for you to use on the day, all you have to do it let us know what football you are planning on playing on June 7th.

Then, on the day go to TheFA.com/lovefootball to input your Reds v Blues score(s).  Scores from all the games that take place will be combined to create an overall final score at the end of the weekend.

Organised Tournament 

The FA has teamed up with Goals Soccer Centre in Chester and are inviting players and teams of all ages and abilities to play in Reds v Blues 5-a-side tournaments on Friday 6 June.

There will be great prizes on offer in the tournaments at every centre, including tickets to an England match in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier.  For more information and to enter a team please click HERE.
