THE CLUB AFFILIATION PROCESS FOR 2024-25 SEASON…

Cheshire FA Club Affiliation for the 2024-25 season will be available from Friday 7th June 2024.

As with the 23-24 Season, Affiliation takes place through the Clubs Portal:

You MUST ensure all outstanding debts are paid prior to starting your affiliation as the system will not allow you to continue through without doing so.

SAFEGUARDING

Please note, your club affiliation will not proceed if all safeguarding sections for all teams are not up to date. Please ensure that the following requirements are met for your club and team volunteers, noting the only change is that in Open Age Adult Football, all Team Officials and Welfare Officers are required to complete the new FREE FA Player Welfare in Open Age Football Course.

AFFILIATION DATES 2024-25

The dates for affiliation opening and closing are as follows:

• Friday 7th June 2024 - Affiliation for the 2024/25 season opens. This is a self-managed process for Clubs via the Clubs Portal. Should you require any support, you can contact our team via 01606871166.

• Wednesday 31st July 2024 - All affiliation applications and cup entries should be submitted to Cheshire FA. Cup Entries will not be accepted after 31st July 2024. Please note it is only one team per age group per club entry for 24-25 Season.

FOLDING TEAMS

Any teams that are not continuing into the 2024-25 Season, should be ‘folded’ on the system as part of the Affiliation process.

PA INSURANCE

We are very excited to announce our partners for Personal Accident Insurance are once again, Sportsguard and there are NO PRICE INCREASES!

Sportsguard have over 30 years’ experience in grassroots sports insurance and have been insuring many County FAs since the mid-1990s.

In the document linked below, you can find details of the various insurance options available for both adult and youth football. Please have a read through ahead of Affiliation beginning. You will be able to purchase these within the affiliation portal at the point of affiliation.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

You will be required to purchase Public Liability Insurance when completing the affiliation process. The cost for this is FROZEN at £22.00 per club for 24-25 Season.
