Grassroots Football in Cheshire Suspended
Following the Government’s announcement on monday, for people to avoid social contact and gatherings where possible, and following The FA’s recommendation for all grassroots football to be postponed, we are now advising that all grassroots football in Cheshire is postponed for the foreseeable future.
The postponement of football involves all football activity including fixtures, friendly fixtures, training sessions and all coach education courses.
Throughout this period, The FA has taken Government advice with the priority being the health and well-being of all.
The FA are in regular communication with the Government and the situation within English football at all levels remains under regular review.
Cheshire FA will continue to monitor the situation and follow the advice provided by The Football Association and the Government.
Further updates will follow as needed.
Cheshire FA Courses
All Cheshire FA Coaching & Refereeing Courses are now postponed with immediate effect, this may be subject to change following FA and Government advice. Further updates will follow as needed.

The pitches and conference rooms will not be available for use for the foreseeable future, all ongoing bookings will be postponed, and we will make contact with our users on a regular basis to ensure our customers are kept up to date with the latest news. All disciplinary hearings will be held via Webex for the foreseeable future.
What if the Situation Changes?
We are actively monitoring Government and FA advice in case the situation changes and additional measures become necessary. As a matter of good practice we would recommend that Leagues and Clubs adopt the same approach.
