Cheshire FA, in partnership with England Football, invites registrations for our 'Future Lionesses' observation events for Cheshire, during summer 2023.

Have you got an amazing young female player on your team, or in your school? Has she got what it takes to grow from grassroots to greatness? Could she become a Lioness of the future? 

Yes?

Here’s your chance to refer a player and she could take her first step on the Women’s England Talent Pathway.

Registrations are now open for London’s #DiscoverMyTalent events so now’s the perfect time to act.

Last season, England Football saw over 2,000 unique referrals and a host of talent that we wouldn’t have discovered without your support.

We’re looking for players who are eligible to represent England, who are born between 2008 and 2011. We want to give them the opportunity to access our inclusive and accessible pathway and importantly they will continue to play in their existing environment, wherever that may be. 

Our aim is to ensure we supply England teams with the quality and depth of players to enable England to win a major tournament. In pursuit of this ambition, we’re leaving no stone unturned when it comes to finding future talent across England. 

So, it’s over to you. We need coaches and clubs, volunteers, match officials, teachers or anyone else working with young players who see potential to put forward your players. If you have a player in mind, ask her parent/carer to fill in our Event Registration form and we will do the rest. 

The Events are free of charge, and will include One and a half hours of technical games and activities designed to unearth and identify talent. 
Our aim is to encourage girls to attend who may not have had access via traditional pathways, these events are open to: 

• Female football players born between 2008-2011 
  and either: 
  
• Play in Mixed Football or
  
• Live in selected postcodes from under-represented areas 

These events are one of the methods England Football uses to identify talented players. 

Players may later be observed via their club or league, & may also be invited to future regional #DiscoverMyTalent events. 

EVENT 1 – West Cheshire (Ellesmere port)
Date: Saturday 8 July
Time: 10:00am - 11:30pm - Year 2008 and 2009 (Year Born)
12:00noon - 1:30pm Year 2010 and 2011 (Year Born)
Location: Vauxhall Motors Football Club, CH66 1NJ

EVENT 2 – East Cheshire (Stockport)
Date: Sunday 9 July
Time: 10:00am - 11:30pm - 2008 and 2009 (Year Born)
12:00noon - 1:30pm 2010 and 2011 (Year Born)
Location: Laurus Cheadle Hulme, SK8 5GB
