Teams are currently being invited to join Cheshire FA and Crewe Football Club for a summer men and women’s World Cup football tournament, which gets underway in July.

The seven-a-side tournament will be held at Crewe FC’s Cumberland Arena (CW1 2BD), with eight teams making up each competition. Throughout the course of the tournament, each team will play a total of five games.

Commencing with a round of group matches, teams will go on to have a chance of competing for the Crewe World Cup or the Crewe Community Cup, with every player receiving a competition medal.

Entry to the tournament is £40 per team.

Women’s Crewe World Cup
Date: Sunday 16 July 2023
Team Registration: 1pm-1.30pm
Start: 2pm
Finish: 6pm (approx.)

Men’s Crewe World Cup
Date: Sunday 23 July 2023
Team Registration: 5pm-5.30pm
Start: 6pm
Finish: 9.30pm (approx.)
