Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA (Football Association) have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years.

They create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches, and volunteers. The result is greater diversity and inclusivity through football.

England Football Accredited replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next ten years.

The deadline to be England Football Accredited is Sunday 30th April 2023.

A big thank you to those clubs who have completed their application or have renewed already this season.

For those still to become accredited, all renewals and applications are now completed and submitted on the Club Portal. Within the portal you will find your ‘My Dashboard’ page which will have 4 tabs labelled Club, Officials, Documents and Player Pathways. Any outstanding Accreditation tasks will be highlighted by an orange number next to the tab name.

The Accreditation is now awarded with a 1-to-3-star rating, based on the number of Player Pathways (Male, Female & Disability) which a club facilitates.

Also, please find a template Club Development Plan, which can be used as part of your club's application.

It is important to note that there is a 12-month grace period for star-ratings, this is to allow clubs to submit their accreditation application and to work on any pathway stars over the course of next season without any alteration in their star rating. All star ratings will be adjusted in 2024.

Any applications submitted after the 30th of April 2023 cannot be considered for Accreditation.
