Cheshire FA are proud to announce that our new chosen Charity Partners for 2023-24, are The Joshua Tree.

THE JOSHUA TREE PROVIDE BESPOKE PROGRAMMES OF SUPPORT TO IMPROVE THE EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING AND MENTAL HEALTH OF ALL IMMEDIATE AND EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE AFFECTED BY CHILDHOOD CANCERS, FOR AS LONG AS THEY NEED IT.

The team at The Joshua Tree do some incredible work to support families going through unimaginable strain, both physically and emotionally. 

The work they do would not be possible without the support of their friends, partners and supporters. Cheshire FA are delighted to become one of these. 

Cheshire FA CEO, Steve Smithies, spoke of his pride at working with The Joshua Tree: “Throughout the season, we will be supporting The Joshua Tree in many different ways. We are aware of the devastating affects childhood cancers can have on not just the child, but also their close and wider family. The work the Joshua Tree team do is invaluable and inspiring. We will be helping in any way we can to give further support to all involved with The Joshua Tree.”

Debbie Wilkinson, Corporate Partnership Officer for The Joshua Tree, spoke of the partnership: “We are very excited to be working with Steve, Greg, Vesta and the team at Cheshire FA to really make a difference for our families. There is a lot of scope as to how we can work together moving forward and we are sure our families will benefit massively from the engagement and support of Cheshire FA.”
