Upcoming Black History Month event for coaches
We are hosting 'Effective Communication and Relationships' on Microsoft Teams on Monday 23rd October (7:30-9pm).
Workshop aims:
The coach listens to understand and confidently communicates with individuals and teams to get their message across clearly and appropriately to create desired impact; nurtures relationships on and off the field and values difference.
Intended outcomes:
- Identify ways to simplify communication for clarity
- Discuss how to build trust and rapport
- Promoting individualised learning experiences
Our speakers:
Danny Fenner
Danny is a D+I Coach Development Officer from the South East who has worked in various sectors of the sports industry, education, charities, pro clubs and voluntary sector and has a passion for serving under represented communities.
Allana ‘Ace’ Francis Ashmeil
Ace is a UEFA C licensed coach from London and founder of the CIC, Project Ace Sports Foundation, which focuses on fun, accessibility, inclusion and a environment that encourages development and growth.
Peter Augustine
After a playing career in non-league, Peter has gone on to take coaching roles in a variety of places, including manager of Chelsea Foundation's Girls' Centre of Excellence, Middlesex FA Girls' Technical Director and in the Reading FC academy.
Kasha Petit
Kasha is a coach and current player for QPR Women and Girls. She has experience in coaching community, education and development football for all levels, ages, and abilities.
