Cheshire FA is pleased to have teamed up with Save Today Play Tomorrow to host a free online event for grassroots clubs interested in understanding football’s role in sustainability and how to address it.

Taking place on Microsoft Teams between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday 12 March, Introduction to Environmental Sustainability for Grassroots Football aims to highlight the importance of why the game needs to recognise its role in environmental sustainability and the potential impact that could have.

The session will also allow participants to develop an understanding of how to create a positive impact by addressing internal sustainability, and leveraging the position of the club/league networks and platforms. 

Additionally, the session will identify immediate actions that participants can take to address environmental sustainability, as well as providing signposts to opportunities to learn more.
