We Are delighted to bring you the December edition of The 1878, The Official E-Magazine Of The Cheshire FA.

This magazine is the second installment of our new online publication, providing you, our stakeholders, with some insight into grassroots football in Cheshire.

Our aim is to get you up close and personal with our grassroots volunteers, providing updates on our progress and highlight some of the great stories happening across the grassroots game in Cheshire.

Our December cover star is Joel Kelly, founder of Sands United FC Stockport. Starting in 2018, Sands (Stillbirth & neonatal death) United FC is a unique way for dads and other bereaved family members to come together through a shared love of sport.

We have also spoken to Liz and Amy Clark, the mother and daughter on their coaching journey together, and Georgia Lyons, the female referee determined to make it all the way to the top.
