Referee Promotions 2022

Cheshire FA Referee Promotions 2022

Referee promotions confirmed for officials across Cheshire.

Cheshire FA are delighted to announce our Referee Promotions for 2020-22.

We would like to thank all of our match officials across the county for their hard work and endeavour over the past two seasons, and we are very pleased to be able to reward this hard work with these promotions.

Referee Development Officer, Nigel Freelove, said: “I’m delighted with the progress of our Cheshire referees over this past season. In very uncertain times their dedication and wanting to improve and test themselves at a higher level has proved successful. We have never had some many referees promoted to Level 3 and Level 4 in one promotion campaign. A total of 52 referees at all levels will start next season at a higher level than last season. Congratulations to ALL of them. Our County FA CORE group has proven a successful foundation for their undoubted hard work and ability.”
